Guests Mark, John, Breezy, Paul and Jen from the United States didn’t really have 25-30 knots and non-stop rain in mind when they planned their trip to the Great Barrier Reef for November 2010, but that’s exactly what mother nature had in store for them. Although they were troupers and spent time on the marlin grounds each day, nary a marlin was seen on these four days. A lull in the bite not entirely dissimilar to what we saw at the end of the Lizard Island competition. But everyone had a good time from snorkeling with our famous Maori Wrasse to the delightful meals, accommodations and companionship aboard the mothership Emerald Lady.
