Vince, Doug and Steve finished off their last two days of their mothershipping charter with KEKOA scoring 4 from 10 bites. Sunday saw the winds and rough weather set in and many boats reported seing big numbers of marlin tailing down the swells. Capt Luke reports that he had spotted at least 20 tailers for the day, that’s the most he has seen for one day in recent years. From all these tailers the guy’s on board managed to score 2 from 4 bites estimated weights of 250 and 350lbs.
Yesterday saw the crew go 2 from 6 bites releasing a couple af smaller fish before heading home to Cooktown to replenish stocks ready for our next charter which starts today.
