This year we have Jarad “Dingo” Boshammer returning to join us on KEKOA. Dingo’s living full-time in the US these days with his lovely wife Beth, but he’s certainly been racking up the frequent flyer miles. He’s fresh back in Florida after 11 days fishing in Kona, Hawaii – and getting plenty of practice for the season ahead with 8 blue marlin from 11 days fishing with Capt. Jeff Kahl on Piper.
Fresh back in Florida, he’s spent the last few days fishing with Terry Fohey and his family. A sailfish each for Terry’s twin 16 year old daughters and a daytime swordfish for Terry.
Joining Dingo on deck this year is Sunshine Coast youngster Braden Byrne. Although this will be Braden’s first full season on the reef, he’s no stranger to the Cairns fishing scene having grown up in the north and regularly fished Linden Bank as a youngster when his father was president of the game fishing club. Braden is also fresh back on Aussie shores having spent some time in Florida recently himself.
