This week we welcome onboard GBR legendary skipper “Capt Laurie Wright” from Australian Fishing Expeditions and their guests from the USA, George, Stan and Mark. KEKOA is again accompanied by the luxury mothership Pure Adrenalin which will provide a great respite after each days fishing with glorious food,drink and accomodation.

The first three days have produced one release a day, the first day was spent on Linden Bank and with a number of bites for one conversion a snappy 175lber for angler Stan. Day two saw KEKOA heading north with the lures out and a 9.45am early bite at St Crispins was had from a 600lber, which was soon released for angler Mark. The team raised another 4 fish for two bites but unfortunately the hooks failed to hold on. Day 3 was relatively quiet all along the reef but KEKOA managed to release another smaller fish at Escape reef.
On another note Jarrod “Dingo” Bosshamer will sure be enjoying the company of Capt Laurie, he and good mate Dave Cassar (now crewing for Tim Dean on Calypso) had been crewing with Capt Laurie and Australian Fishing Expeditions for the last few seasons before joing us at KEKOA this year. The old team together again! 🙂
