KEKOA has just wound up a few days of sport fishing out of Townsville. And the weather really turned it on for us making for some really enjoyable days on the water.
We spent Monday on the reef edges chasing a bucket list fish for Joe, the Giant Trevally (GT). And KEKOA delivered again with Joe bagging a few — and getting smoked on a couple more — and getting to experience first-hand just how strong these fish fight!
Yesterday, the team from Clipsall in Brisbane joined us for a day trip down to Cape Bowling Green, and while the billfish didn’t cooperate, the boys all took home a lovely feed of Spanish mackerel and enjoyed the once again perfect conditions.
