900lber On Day 1 for New Caledonian!

A great way to start your heavy tackle charter is with a heavy fish and that is exactly what Eric did yesterday. On speaking to Capt Luke yesterday he told me the water wasn’t looking good in the middle so he had made the decision to head south, whilst working #2 ribbon for a while with no success KEKOA then moved to #1.

By the end of the day the team had released a glamour 900lber and a smaller 200lber for Eric before heading to Ruby reef for Anchorage.

Eric has now been joined by his good friend Christian, who joined the crew via seaplane to the reef this morning.

The guys from New Caledonia finished their trip onboard KEKOA, releasing a 200lber for Christian who was fishing and enjoying the Great Barrier Reef for the first time.
