KEKOA is in town (Cairns) gearing up in readiness for our Heavy Tackle season to begin.
There have been reports that a few bigger marlin have already been caught at Linden Bank and the boats bait fishing their way to Cairns are also seeing their share of action on the outer reefs. It all seems to be shaping up to a great start for the season.
This season see’s the team at KEKOA welcome a number of new anglers to the reef and we look forward to showing them what a truly spectacular place our Great Barrier Reef is.
The crew running the deck this year will be seasoned campaigner and young gun Adam Cass, joining Adam and KEKOA for the first time is New Zealander Geoff Lamond.
Geoff has a wealth of experience on the reef having run the deck on board Sea Baby in previous years. The ever smiling Jerry “Hucka” Boyle was unable to join us this year but the New Zealand flavour will continue with Geoff on board.
