I’ve been remiss with reports! Catching up!
Cameron, Nick, Quinn and Adam joined us at Port Musgrave and the Ducie River for the first week of April Gulf of Capentaria barramundi runoff season. On the ride back to the airport and Weipa, they did the final tally..an impressive 450 barra releases for the five days fishing. While no huge monsters, the individual sessions of fish after fish kept all entertained. Barras on plastics, hardbodies and surface – all accounted for. Looking forward to seeing what the amazing cinematographic skills of Nick Bent can come up with – never a camera out of hand.
Thanks guys – was an absolute pleasure. Mudcrab lasagna and fishcake recipes on their way as well as team KEKOA shirts!
