Mike Carney, Townsville’s popular Toyota dealer, who is also major sponsor of the Townsville Billfish Challenge, is back on board and barra fishing with us this week. As many of you who know Mike know that he’s a bit of a joker, so its been a big laugh again so far. But the fishing has been keeping him jovial as well with him and Jason knocking up 50 barra between them yesterday by midway through the day – including several nice legal ones.
While Donny’s boys had a quieter day overall, it total between the two boats they still got close to 100 barra for the day and as today is Donny’s birthday, I’m sure we’ll hear something about a birthday barramundi when they return.
