George first fished with us on our maiden season on the new KEKOA back in 2010. It was a great trip and he released a couple of real nice fish (read the report here).
Well after 3 years, he has finally made it back to fish with us. Some pretty entertaining fishing with one feisty black marlin in particular jumping all over the ocean – just spectacular – as well as a yellowfin tuna that Capt. Luke put at over 200lbs, the largest yellowfin that he’s ever seen in this part of the world let alone caught. Another milestone fish for George!
We finished up the final day with another marlin with an hour to go. And then missed another with a full on assault on the teaser in the last five minutes!
We have the opportunity to fish with some pretty special people here on KEKOA, and George is just one of those people. Such great company on the boat and he just loves his fishing.
It was so lovely to have you back George – hopefully its not another three years before we see you again!
