Brett from Florida fished with us for the first time and also his first visit to the Great Barrier Reef. Brett’s very handy on the rod and certainly got a fair bit of practice this trip. He was the king of the non-bait species (when targeting bait of course) – big spanish mackerel, dogtooth tuna (one of Brett’s bucket list species) and wahoo. The marlin fishing was not as hot as it has been but he got plenty of winding done there too.
