A New Horizon – KEKOA heads to Townsville

KEKOA has left the Gold Coast and is making way up the east coast to Townsville, where we will carry out our  yearly dry dock maintenance before beginning our 2009 charter season with the light tackle action at Cape Bowling Green.

This year will be the last season we share with our 47′ KEKOA with the launching and changeover to our new vessel     KEKOA 56 planned for early December on our way back from the Cairns Heavy Tackle season.

Whilst we leave behind the 47, a new horizon will dawn for KEKOA Sports Fishing and Personalised Charters with KEKOA 56 adding  more luxurious accomodation and comfort for our charter guests, whilst keeping with the O’Brien Boats design that delivers both world class boats and  world class fishing experiences.

The much anticipated 2010 Weipa season combined with the Cairns Heavy Tackle seasons now means that KEKOA 56 will be the leader in providing clients the oppurtunity to fish Australia’s most adrenaline filled and  pristine fisheries.
