A good ending for the Heavy Tackle 2008 Season for KEKOA catching fish all the way south to Townsville where they will have a short stay before leaving for our final Charter for the year at Fraser Island.
Scotty, Glenn and this year Vic, enjoyed their annual end of season trip catching 5 Marlin one of which was a Blue and the biggest estimated at 850lb. Myrmidon reef provided some good marlin and light tackle sports fishing over the last few days with the monster Spanish mackerel providing plenty of action on the light tackle.
Monday saw the guy’s go two from three small blacks at Myrmidon and Backing up on Tuesday with two from two a 200lber and a nice 600lber!
Deciding not to chase the marlin on the last day, the crew instead enjoyed some good GT and Tuna action before heading in to Townsville.
