In 2010, with the new larger KEKOA launched (a 56 O’Brien) we added more remote and far-reaching destinations to our charter fishing destinations including trips to Weipa in the Gulf of Carpentaria (barramundi capital of Queensland) and to the offshore reefs off Cairns for blue marlin and other Pelagic species.

Cairns marlin fishing charters from September through December for giant black marlin. Cairns is the home of big game fishing and marlin fishing in Australia.
Capt. Luke Fallon is on of the most respected and successful skippers chartering in Australia. He is a veteran of more than 27 seasons fishing for marlin off the Great Barrier Reef and has been offering barramundi fishing charters and working as a barramundi fishing guide in the marlin off-season for more than 20 years.
