Perth GFC anglers Alex and Brian joined us on board KEKOA again in 2010, this time for the prestigous Lizard Island Black Marlin Classic and the weather put them straight to the test with trying conditions all week. On Day 1, Brian put us on the scoreboard. On Day 2, we added another three fish, including a nice 850lb-er for Alex to give us the daily award and to put us into second place on countback. This began our tussle with the leaders that lasted for the rest of the competition and finally saw Alex and Brian take out third place in the Champion Team standings. Congratulations to both Alex and Brian for your great efforts in such trying conditions! Getting to the chair on some days was the hardest part!
Brian also took out the Runner-up Champion angler award, adding some more trophies to the already bulging suitcases! Congratulations Brian! Watch out for some of the video footage to come.
